A Broken Art was founded by Christy Ann Beguesse in
1996 in Rosarito Baja California, Mexico. After a 2 week
vacation in Puerto Vallarta, she moved the gallery/studio to
nearby Bucerias, Nayarit in 2005. I love living in this sleepy
little village. The kick back attitude lends itself to creative sorts
like me, not to mention being surrounded by so much inspiration.
The Mexican way of life, the ocean and jungle along with the
colors of Mexico really feed my creative soul.
The winter months are bustling with tourists from Canada and
the U.S. who are wondering about the studio while I am in the
plaza teaching workshops under the palm trees or beachfront.
The summer months are slow and allow me time to complete
commissions and research new methods and material in order to
maintain the standard of quality my customers are accustom to.
I would like to extend an invitation to anyone who finds
themselves in our little part of paradise, around the corner from
Puerto Vallarta, to join us for a workshop or purchase one of
the many pieces of art in my gallery.
A Broken Art is Located in The Bucerias Art Walk Plaza.
